Thirteen years ago this home and its gardens were planned and constructed by the owners. From the crabapple at the entrance to the trumpet vines at the patio, this home achieves a maximum bloom to space ratio. Walking maple, pussy willow, red-twig osier, raspberries, grapevine, blackberries, wisteria and more lead to a garden pond. Beyond the patio area lies a gated pocket orchard of apple and cherry trees.
The interior follows a theme of green on white with unbelievably flourishing greenery throughout the rooms. The sunroom features ivy stenciled by a daughter, complementing the living ivy and ferns. Canaries and parakeets inside are separated only by windows from the outside bird population’s feeders and perches.
