The Garden Club anticipates another fabulous tour of stunning homes and gardens burgeoning with riotous color on the first Saturday of August, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.   Again four private homes with unique gardens will entice locals and visitors to experience the ambience of life in Taos.

          A custom built, free form adobe graces two completely landscaped acres inviting guests to stroll through the meditation garden.   A contemporary adobe filled with one of a kind furnishings and art work is surrounded by architectural outdoor entertaining spaces opening onto natural pinon and sage.  The abundant vegetable and flower gardens in Ranchitos surround the cozy comfort of a family home with cool shade and water features.      The rambling rancho in Las Colonias is complemented by specimen gardens on all sides including orchard, roses, succulents and edibles.

         This year the commercial venue is the Couse Foundation home and workshop with its historical native gardens subsidized by the Los Jardineros Grant program funded by the proceeds of the annual Garden and Home Tour.

         Tickets for the tour will be available starting July 1, 2010 at local garden centers but will also be available on the day of the tour at centrally located Couse Foundation near the Kit Carson municipal parking lot.
