2009 Garden and Home Tour

The Garden Club of Taos invited visitors and residents to the annual tour of uniquely Taos properties and landscapes. Three spacious custom homes with designer landscaping highlighted last year’s event. In addition, the tour included

a private garden covering several acres with a large koi pond and fountain. The Lumina Sculpture Garden’s beautifully decorated casitas, usually private property, and gallery also were open to visitors as part of the tour.

 

Proceeds from the Garden and Home Tour are used exclusively to fund landscaping and beautification projects in the Taos, New Mexico, area. Sponsors for this year’s tour are Blossoms Garden Center, The Enchanted Florist, Loveless Stone and Tile, Petree Nursery & Greenhouses, Rio Grande Ace Hardware, San Geronimo Lodge, YART, El Monte Sagrado, Heidi Smith Realtor, and Red Arrow Emporium in Taos as well as Agua Fria Nursery and Santa Fe Greenhouses in Santa Fe and Tooley’s Trees in Truchas.
